Empowering the Next Generation of Business People in Wisconsin

BEEF is a non-profit organization that supports enhanced business learning experiences for young adults.

Help make a difference!

Why BEEF?

Beyond the classroom, students need enriching experiences and supplies. BEEF (Business Education Enrichment Fund of Wisconsin) provides assistance that directly benefits students with these, according to the wishes of supporters.

Private Management

Donations can be made to public or private funds. Public funds are managed with government bureaucratic processes (an example is public university managed funds). Private funds like BEEF are more flexible, responsive, and transparent, which increases support effectiveness. This is similar to channeling K-12 support through private PTA funds (Parent Teacher Associations).

Dedicated Volunteers

BEEF officers are passionate volunteers committed to enhancing student education without labor-oriented administrative fees. We have no paid employees. Our dedication makes BEEF cost-effective and efficient.

Tax Deductible Contributions

Contributions to BEEF are tax deductible. This makes BEEF a good choice for those looking to meaningfully impact students’ educational experiences.

What Alumni Have to Say

Riley Magit ’23

The connections and skills I built have not only helped me succeed in my professional life but also in my personal. I believe that every student at UWO could benefit from the Sales certificate even if you cannot envision yourself going into a sales role.

The UW‑Oshkosh Sales Program was one of the most transformative experiences of my college career. I gained real‑world skills that I rely on daily and a community that supported and pushed me. The program expanded my network, introduced me to lifelong friends, and challenged me to think differently. It reshaped how I approach conversations, decisions, and opportunities. I walked away not just prepared for a career in sales, but prepared for life.

I owe a lot to the UW-Oshkosh Sales Program. Through the hands-on learning approach with real world scenarios, sales roleplay competitions, field trips, and multiple professional networking events and opportunities; the program is truly the best investment I have ever made in my education career. The professor conducted these experiences to enhance our critical thinking, resilience, and adaptability as both students, and young professionals.

The UWO Sales Program is the most effective class I took at UWO. The class brings out the best in students and coaches them to improve on their weaknesses. Through lectures, materials, and real-world experiences, students gain a great foundation for post-graduation success. From a company’s perspective, this class develops students so that when they leave the classroom, they will have the skills to make a difference in any field, not just sales.

I can’t say enough positive things about the Sales Emphasis as it was one of the single greatest academic experiences I was fortunate to have explored. Working with the partner companies painted a realistic picture of the expectations in various sales roles and helped me identify what was most important to me in my future career.

Nick Hermus (coach)

The UW-Oshkosh Sales Program helped immensely. It provided a solid foundation of skills, expanded my network, and impacted my career trajectory. I still keep in touch with former sales class peers, staff, and employers. Entering the business world can intimidate new graduates, but my Sales Program experiences gave me confidence that allowed me to add value to my organization on day one. I would recommend this program to students interested in ANY field of business!

Haley Volstad (coach)

Enrolling in the Professional Sales Program at UWO was one of the best decisions in my 4 years there. I learned how to get out of my comfort zone and push myself to grow professionally and personally. I can say nothing but positive things about this program. Not only did I meet the company I am currently working for, I also formed great relationships throughout the semester. I will be forever grateful for this program, and I highly recommend it.
